Wits fail Tuks test

The match between Bidvest Wits and University of Pretoria was a very interesting but entertaining game. Normally one would put Wits and entertaining in the same sentence however last night it was different ball game. They way the controlled the ball and also moving forward was great to watch.
The home team (Wits) started the game or the wrong foot as AmaTuks opened the scoring as early as the five minute. Great cross by Geofrey Musa found Nyondo inside the box to score the first goal of the night.
After the gaol then AmaTuks started sit back and allowed Wits to take control of the game. They did enough to last the first 45 minutes. However in the second half Wits kept on the pressure but it was until the hour-mark when Henrico Botes equalized for Wits.
Now Wits was on the high and could’ve scored a second goal if it wasn’t for the poor finishing in front of goal. AmaTuks finished the game with ten men when Siyabonga Ngubane received a second yellow card and was showered a red card
Tuks hold on for a 1-1 draw.
Clear Gavin Hunt wasn’t too happy with the results and was looking for maxim points. He had this to say after the games.
“There was only one team but credit to AmaTuks back-four.”
Next Wits game is against Orlando Pirates on Sunday for the MTN semi-final first leg.
