Stekelenburg: in this league anything can still happen

Ajax Cape Town missed an opportunity to clime to second place on the log, when they played to a 1-1 draw with Santos in Cape Town Stadium.

Maarten Stekelenburg isn't worry about the draw at home to Santos, the coach admits that anything can still happen in this league.

" We still consider ourselves as a top team and today if we won today we would've moved into second place."

"Now we still in the same position because most teams draw, we won five games in a row and now we drawn this one. We have to bounce back, in this league anything can still happen."

Meanwhile Santos coach Duncan Crowie says that Ajax Cape Town didn't offer any treat to them.

"Look at last weekends game against Bidvest Wits and now the Ajax game. In all fairness and not being disrespectful  to  Ajax, they didn't have clear cut goal scoring opportunities. Mostly it was shots outside the penalty area, this shows that we are defending well."

"If you compare this to our first three games including this one, I think to an extend we are in the right road. But like  any other  coach you can never be satisfied with the way your team players."

Santos moves  to 16 points and 12 on the long while Ajax Cape Town move above Orlando Pirates into fourth with 31 points.
