Leopards in deadlock negations

Black Leopards are in deadlock negations with Edward Tshabalala and Khetowakhe Masuku over contract extension. Both players contract are expected to expire at the end of the season.

Leopards Media Officer Tendani Thidiela says that things are still uncertain at the moment and both parties are yet to reach an agreement.

"We are currently still negations with the players and we are not yet certain if they will extend contract with the team."

But Tendani Thidiela says that other players whose contracts are expected to expire at the end of the season will sign a new deal.

“The rest of the players whose contract are set to end of the season will sign an extension we are confidant of that “

Meanwhile, Ajax Cape Town CEO George Comitis conforms that the club won’t renew Mfundo Shumana contract when it expires at the end of this current season.

‘ We are going to terminate he’s contact at the end of the season, we wont renew it.”

Shumana at the beginning of the season signed a one-year deal with an option for two more seasons with Ajax Cape Town but with little game time that he has seeing this season, the team opted not to renew he’s contact.
