Kaka and Benzema for the English Premiership?

Tottenham are ready to offer out-of-favour Kaka an escape from his Real Madrid nightmare.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will offer to take the 29-year-old on loan in the January transfer window, reports the Daily Express.

Kaka has been on the fringes of Jose Mourinho’s side and is set to be offloaded at the end of this season.

Meanwhile Arsenal are preparing a move for Real Madrid hot shot Karim Benzema, according to reports in Spain.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has put the French striker at the top of his hitlist amid concerns about the future of Robin van Persie, who is out of contract in 18 months time and has yet to begin talks about extending his deal at the Emirates.

Real Madrid have been linked with a summer swoop for Van Persie and the Dutchman could be used in a swap deal.

Wenger is a long-term admirer of Benzema, who has scored 14 goals in 23 appearances this season.
