Larsen backing he’s home record

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen will be backing he’s home record to Make sure that he gets full 3 points on Sunday when they face cross town rivals Free State Stars.

“We’ve haven’t lost a game at home and the only time we have lost at home was once, so that  tell you that when we play at home we are very strong.”

Larsen is also hoping to getting full 3 points which he’s team to a better position in the league standings

“Getting 3 points on Sunday will be vital for us in terms of the team moving to a respective place in the league and we are looking to use our home advantage to do that.”

Meanwhile newly named Free State Stars PRO Lebo Maketa says that if Stars gets the full 3 points away to Bloemfontein Celtic it will be a bonus

Speaking to Kickof.com he explained that Celtic are a difficult team to beat at home

“ We want to aim for a draw but if we get 3 points it will be a bonus for us, because you know when we play against Celtic will be difficult.“

Stars are laying on seventh on the log with eleven points but Maketa says that the team would’ve like more points

“The thing is that we aim high and try to win each and every game we play. We would’ve liked to have many points as possible.”

Maketa is aware that the Stars at times tend to underestimate the smaller teams

“We tend to take the smaller teams them for grated and when we play the likes of Chiefs or Pirates our plays are on high spirit.”

Maketa explains that beating Orlando Pirates in they last game wasn’t anything special for them

“  We are happy with the win over Pirates in fact any team can beat Pirates there is nothing special about them. Now we are looking ahead to our next game against Celtic on Sunday.
