Lewis: when I got here there wasn’t any confidence in the team

 Stanton Lewis has praised head coach Roger Palmgren for bringing back the confidants to the team since taking over from Manqoba Mngqithi at the beginning of the season.

The striker is happy with the confidence in which the team has at the moment and believe Roger Palmgren brought that to the team.

“He come and install the confidants in the team, when I got here there wasn’t any confidence in this team. Now the coach (Roger Palmgren) has given everybody a chance to player and has found a team that can win games for him. “

 The coach hasn’t only brought the confidence back to the team but also helped the teams’ defence, which is one of the best in the league so far this season. 

Amazulu have only considered fourteen goals so far this season but they also haven’t scored that many goals as well and only managing to score eighteen goals. This is the second lowest goal scoring form after Jomo Cosmos

“We have considerate the least number of goals in the league, so defensively we are doing very well and if we doing well at the back we feel safe.”

“We have good defenders and a good keeper at the back. We just need to score goals up front and when we do so we manage to score, we tend to hold on into our lead.’

Amazulu will be traveling down to Cape Town to face Ajax Cape Town In they next league fixture on Wednesday night.
