Mugeyi: Anything can happened
Chippa United suffered they third straight league defeat in the hands of Kaizer Chiefs two weeks back however coach Wilfred Mugeyi has faith that there team will able to pick up points soon.
The former Bush Bucks striker has played down any talk of playing to move into a play-ff place instead of going straight down.
“We are not talking about the play-off or relegation, we have still game to play and if you look at the teams above us only have a point difference. So for as at the moment there isn’t any point to talk about relegation we’ll have to fight until the end and see what happens.”
Wilfred Mugayi says that he has confident that Chippa United will collect points to survive and if the teams around him were six or seven points above the he wouldn’t have the belief that they can survive relegation.
“The confidence I have with my team that we can still pick up points to survive and if the team above us were six or seven points above us then I would started to think probably not going to make it but we still have a chance anything can happened.“
Chippa United have until the 31 March for they next league fixture is away to Maritzburg United.
