TUKS game moves to Athlone Stadium

Ajax Cape Town can confirm that their game against the University of Pretoria has been moved to the Athlone Stadium.

The game, originally scheduled for the Cape Town Stadium will be played on Sunday, 16 March 2014 with kick-off at 15h30 at the Athlone Stadium.

Shooz Mekuto the Ajax PRO said, “After the hosting of the CHAN Tournament in January and February followed by two major events at the Cape Town Stadium; Eminem and the Nitro Circus, the pitch at Cape Town Stadium is yet to reach peak condition.

Ajax Cape Town has therefore reached an agreement with the Stadium to allow the pitch a full recovery time before we resume our games at the Cape Town Stadium. 

We will play Sunday's game against TUKS at the Athlone Stadium.”
