Gert Schalkwyk and Nasief Morris join Santos

Santos on Tuesday official announced Gert Schalkwyk and Nasief Morris as Santos players.

Morris who is on loan for Super Sport United until the end of the season while the chairman Doolam Allie didn’t want to say how long Gert Schalkwyk but he did said “Gert has a contract that is much more then two years.”

Still caretaker coach Duncan Crowie was pleased to have Gert Schalkwyk and Nasief Morris to Santos camp for the second have of the season.

“ I don’t think its necessary to call them quality players as you can see they have different attribute that they will be beneficial to the team. Morris knows the team that will fight for the team and Schalkwyk will bring something special as we know what kinder player he is.”

Still there isn’t any clarification of how long Duncan Crowie will stay as caretaker coach,  the chairman Doolam Allie says that they are not rushing to bring someone new to the team just yet.

“ We have mind a clear decision when we said Duncan will be in charge of two games at the end last year and we also indication while we asses our solutions we will continue in this way however the set in which we work things might change later.”

'For now he is still the coach of the team."

Meanwhile Nasief Morris is happy to be back home where he started playing professional soccer as a youngster.  Being loan out for six months from Super Sport United  doesn’t seemed to worry him much and he believes  that he can help the team to be in a better position come end of the season.    
  
“ I believe that I can make the difference for the team on and off the field, I believe that we can get out of this situation. I know its not enough time like a full season but I think we have the power and strength to get out of this situation," said Morris.
