Sundowns new technical team

Mamelodi Sundowns have welcomed two additions to the technical team, in the form of a team doctor Dr Carl Kgabo Tabane and physical trainer Zac van Heerden. 

The two have just completed a spell with Bafana Bafana for the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON). Apart from his spell with Bafana Bafana Dr Tabane has also worked with, Supersport United and University Of Pretoria as team physician. 

He replaces Dr Human who left the club to focus on his private practice. Van Heerden has also worked with a number of PSL teams as a physical trainer, utilizing his knowledge of human physiology, performance biomechanics, physical assessment and conditioning techniques to improve training methods and physical performance. 

 Experienced Brazilian Physical Trainer, Helvecio Pessoa travelled with the team throughout the midseason camp in Van Heerden’s absence, and will be staying until the match against Kaizer Chiefs.
