Pirates lose appeal

The SAFA Appeals Board sat on Friday evening, 2 November 2012, to hear the appeal that Orlando Pirates Football Club had lodged against a DC decision that had found them guilty of spectator misbehavior. 

This relates to spectator invasion of the pitch at the Telkom Knockout Final 2011/12, where Orlando Pirates played against BIDVest Wits at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. 

The Appeals Board dismissed the appeal with costs, including wasted costs of the previous sitting that was postponed.
