Matsatsantsa ready for CAF second leg clash

SuperSport United are preparing for the Last 16 stage of the CAF Confederation Cup second leg encounter that will take place in South Africa this week.

Matsatsantsa welcome Atletico Petroleos de Luanda of Angola in the CAF competition.

The match is scheduled for Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Friday night.

Kick-off is at 7pm.

Matsatsantsa are going into this important encounter highly motivated and are looking to use the home ground advantage.

This after the two nations drew 0-0 in the first leg that was played in Angola last week.

This will be Caretaker coach Kaitano Tembo’s third match in charge (after the parting of coach Eric Tinkler) following his two consecutive goalless draws in the league and CAF competition respectively.

In the first meeting, Tembo had an impressive combination of his young players and the experienced ones in the starting line-up.

A win for the home side will move them to the next stage of the CAF competition.
