Menzo anxious for three points

Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo says that his side is looking to avoid what happened last season when Urban Warriors had a slow start.

Last season Ajax in their first nine fixtures failed to win any games which lead them bottom of the table.

This time around coach Stanley Menzo are looking to avoid the repeat of what happened last season by collecting maximum points as soon as possible.

 “We need that win as soon as possible and hopefully it comes on Wednesday,” he said.

“It is important that you get the win and get by the points. We are sitting here little bit disappointed but yet again you could also lose games and be more disappointed if lose the game.”

“I’m not happy but a one is something that we will carry us and hopefully it will take us to the next 

three points,” he concluded.

Next-up Ajax Cape Town will be facing Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Wednesday night.

Ajax have failed to beat United in their last four League fixtures at the Harry Gwala Stadium and would be hoping to change they fortunes this time around.
