Zeca Marque hold no grudges
With
SuperSport United signing Bennett Chenene and David Mathebula for next season, Moroka
Swallows coach Zeca Marques says he doesn’t hold any grudges against the
players.
Mathebula
signed a two-year contract and Chenene signed a pre-contract with United. Both
players were instrumental for Swallows finishing second last season.
However,
Marques is very happy for both players and says that United are lucky to have
such good players. The Swallows coach says that he had a talk with both players
and since then both of them have showered professionalism by continuing on
performing well for Swallows.
“I
know that there are leaving and we have discussion with them and also they have
my blessings. I’m happy for them because it’s a career move and they have to
look out for themselves, football is a very short career and they got to make
the most of it.”
“We
can’t hold any grudges with players that want to improve their lives and take
care of their families. I’m also happy that they have been good professionals,
they are still doing their best for Swallows, day in and out they have been
professional.”
“That
has made me happy because I know that we have players on board with good
character and SuperSport United should be happy getting good players with great
character,” Marques said.
