Walks out on Leopards
BLACK Leopards began life without their head coach Vladislav Heric with a 0-0 draw against fellow strugglers BidVest Wits here last night
Leopards went into this Absa Premiership fixture on the back of Heric's resignation on the eve of the encounter.
The Serb trainer accused the club management of interference.
"I couldn't take it anymore," Heric said yesterday.
"I discussed the matter with the management of the club and wished them good luck in all their remaining matches."
Club spokesman Tendani Thidiela said Leopards had not received a
letter of resignation.
Technical director Sunday Chidzambwa was in
charge of last night's clash.
Leopards have avoided automatic relegation, as last-placed Jomo
Cosmos can now mathematically not catch the Limpopo club. Wits have not
won in 14 matches.
They dominated the first half and Leopards edged the
second, but neither side could breach the other's well-organised
defence. - Additional reporting by Ramatsiyi Moholoa
