Ajax CT to fight Arbitrator ruling


Ajax Cape Town are to file papers in the High Court on Wednesday morning to have the Premier Soccer League’s Promotion/Relegation play-offs postponed‚ the club confirmed.

This comes after the PSL received the award in the arbitration proceedings concerning Ajax Cape Town and Tendai Ndoro from Arbitrator, Advocate W. Mokhari SC.

In a statement release by the Urban Warriors after the rulling this is what the had to say:

“Ajax Cape Town are currently consulting with their legal team regarding William Mokhari SC's arbitration ruling released this morning‚” the club said in a statement.

“The club is in the process of preparing papers to be filed urgently before the High Court in Johannesburg for the matter to be heard tomorrow morning at 10am.

“Amongst other issues‚ the club will seek to interdict the promotion playoffs from commencing on Wednesday 16th May at 3pm.

"This will be sought pending an urgent review of the arbitrators award this morning.”
