Ajax signs Zimbabwean Star

Ajax Cape Town is proud to announce the signing of Simba Sithole who plays for How Mine FC in the Zimbabwean, Castle Premier League.

Sithole was signed on a two-year contract and is expected at Ikamva after the weekend.

Simba was part of Zimbabwe’s CHAN Squad; he played three games and scored twice for the Warriors in their game against Mali.

Sithole is a former Masvingo Christian College star player. He is How Mine FC’s top goal scorer with six goals to his name this season, helping them to finish as runners-up in the Mbada Diamonds Cup to qualify for the 2014 CAF Confederations Cup.

Ian Taylor said, “Simba is a robust player in and around the penalty area. He is quick, strong on his feet and is not afraid to take on defenders in a one-one situation.

Sithole likes to be involved in the game, is very mobile in possession and his height will enhance Ajax’s aerial capabilities.”
