NFD mid week results

There were only three games played in the mid week NFD action. Mpumalanga Black Aces once gain failed to move on top of the table as their played to a goalless draw against Santos at home. 

Mpumalanga Black Aces 0-0 Santos 

Aces once again slip-up, as they failed to take maximum points at home when they were held to a goalless draw by Santos at Themba Senamela stadium. Aces now are just one point behind log leaders Thanda Royal Zulu with 33 points, while Santos have extended they unbeaten run to six games and have moved into the play-off position. Santos are in third on the log with 28 points. 

Polokwane City 0-2 Vasco da Gama 

Goals from Sici Shelembe and George Akpapio helped Vasco da Gama secure a 2-0 victory over Polokwane City. This was Vasco second consecutive victory while City have gone five games without any win. This victory moves Vasco into sixth place with 27 points and City remain in eleventh place with 20 points. 

Roses United 0-0 Dynamos 

In the relegation battle Roses United and Dynamos played to goalless draw in Free State. Both teams are in need of points as the sit 15 and 16 on the log respectively. Dynamos are still at the bottom of the table with 9 points behind second from bottom side Roses United who have 17 points on the log
