Chippa United waiting on Skhakhane







Chippa United have found the going taught in the PSL so far and things are not getting any easy for the rookies, as there are set to face a rejuvenated Black Leopards away from home on Sundays.

The Chilli Boy who parted ways with then head coach Manqoba Mnqithi who failed to impress Chippa United boss Siviwe “Chippa” Mpengesi in his two games, which lead to his sacking.

The team is looking to have former coach Rodger Skhakhane back as head coach after his lead the team to the PSL but step down due to sickness and was unable to continue to be head coach of the team.

Speaking to the team communication manager Nkosinathi Nqanda who said that the club have already made up they mind and they will like to have Rodger Skhakhane back with the team.

“We are not looking at anyone either then Rodger Skhakhane, his the only person we want as our had coach and we hope that he gets better soon.”

Skhakhane who is suffering from illness, Chippa boss Mpengesi went to visit him few weeks back and he spoke to him regarding coming back to join the club.

Julius Dube is currently the caretaker coach. He was Rodger Skhakhane's assistant coach in the NFD and also was Manqoba Mnqithi's assistant coach in the past two games of the season.
