Nontshinga joins Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic FC have announced that the club have signed Siyabonga Nontshinga.

Nontshinga, who cut his teeth as a striker at the relegated Jomo Cosmos last season, has secured a three-year deal with Bloemfontein Celtic FC. He signed on the dotted lines on Wednesday.

His acquisition brings to three the number of players that Phunya Sele Sele have signed this week. The other two players are Auguston Leonard and John Arwuah.

”Obviously we are extremely happy to have acquired the services of Siyabonga Nontshinga. He is a prolific young striker and we hope that he will score goals for us next season,” Khumbulani Konco, Celtic CEO, said.

“Nontshinga has predatory instincts and his awareness and anticipation around the penalty are very good. His first touch is also marvellous. We believe he will enjoy his stay in Bloemfontein.”
