PSL DC outcome

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has delivered verdict on the misconduct matter against Uthongathi FC and player, Philani Gumede.

Gumede was charged with misconduct after he assaulted Richards Bay player Menzi Hlope. He was found guilty and sentenced to a six match suspension in addition to the automatic two match suspension earned by reason of his expulsion during Uthongathi FC fixture against Richards Bay.

Of these six matches, two matches are suspended for a period of 24 months

The club, Uthongathi FC was also found guilty and fined R50 000 of which R25 000 is suspended for a period of 24 months.
